The handwoven black & white Telico patterned seat and Teak hardwood frame are made in – and sustainably sourced from – Nicaragua, and the chair is a perfect design for the mid-century and Danish modern furniture lover. This design is a combination of renewable materials, artisanal technique, and modern design resulting in a beautiful, handcrafted, solid wood accent chair that’s ideal for everyday use and will last for generations.

Need more convincing? For every piece sold, Masaya & Co. will plant 100 trees. Since they started acting on this promise in 2007, they have planted over 850,000 trees over 1200 acres of land. All of the tropical hardwoods used in this design have been sustainably harvested from Masaya & Co’s very own tree plantations, or recovered from areas damaged by hurricanes.
